Chesley Edwards grew up in Mississippi and Arkansas. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. In 2012, he earned his B.F.A. degree in Art with a concentration in Sculpture. Chesley’s keen artist’s eye and passion for helping others led him to an extensive apprenticeship in Nashville with Steve Sanders, a former Fellow of the American Society of Ocularists (ASO). After Chesley successfully completed his training/education in 2018, the National Examining Board of Ocularists (NEBO) awarded Chesley the title Board Certified Ocularist (BCO) and the American Society of Ocularists (ASO) awarded him the title Board Approved Diplomate Ocularist (BADO). Chesley serves as a member of the Education Committee in the ASO. Chesley and his wife, Elizabeth, have two young girls. On any given weekend, you’ll find the Edwards family at the zoo, a concert, playing tennis, or exploring the great outdoors.
